International 7390 - SIP TCP port 5060 is open. Why?

Sorry for the English only. My German is not too good.

Why is port TCP port 5060 (SIP) open on the the Fritz!box 7390? I understand why it needs to accept *UDP* packets on 5060, but I dont think TCP 5060 should be open.

Any idea?

this is the standart port for ip calls. That is open in all Fritzbox...

As most of the time, SIP*only uses 5060 via UDP and not TCP, the question is warranted.

However, as you can easily read eg. Wikipedia on SIP, can SIP clients connect both via UDP*or TCP, so it needs to listen for both.

I understand that SIP can use UDP or TCP. However, most providers (e.g., sipgate) only use UDP and don't listen for TCP. It seems like a security risk to leave TCP 5060 open if I am only using UDP. To disable the TCP 5060 on the WAN, I should edit the ar7.cfg?
