Für die N870(E)/N770/N670/N610 ist seit gestern Release 2.67.0 RC1 verfügbar.
Leider nicht frei zum Download. Gibt es bereits Erfahrungen oder Hinweise auf Änderungen?
 
Unter Release notes gibt es einen Hinweis auf 2.66.0 vom November 2025. Das ist die 2.65.0 vom September 2025 mit General improvements nur für die N530.
Sonst alles unverändert.
Wo hast du Release 2.67.0 RC1 gesehen/gefunden?

Aber das (damals) versprochene IPv6 für N670 haben Sie bis heute nicht nachgeliefert :-(
 
Es gibt noch eine ganze Reihe an Baustellen, welche jetzt nach und nach abgearbeitet werden. Die Unterstützung für CrewPTT hat man ja bislang nicht ohne Grund nur für die N670 freigeschaltet und noch nicht für die grösseren N770 und N870. Für die künftigen DECT Headsets Gigaset CH41D und CH21D bedarf es noch weiterer Anpassungen und für die Handsets SL850H PRO und R700H Protect PRO stehen auch noch Firmwareupdates aus. Da steht dann so etwas wie IPv6 ziemlich weit hinten in der Liste. Aber es soll noch Vieles in 2026 dazukommen.

Klar, aber es wurde schon bei Initialrelease damals vermerkt, dass IPv6 nachgereicht werden soll. Insbesondere ist das unverständlich, weil das N870 es kann.

Es gibt einige Funktionen, die laufen mit der N670 erst nach dem Freischalten der Feature Upgrade Lizenz (kostenpflichtig). Damit werden dann alle Features der N870 freigeschaltet, wobei sich die Frage stellt, ob man bei bis zu drei N670 Basen diese Funktionen überhaupt braucht.

Improvements
Security upgrade: We have updated our DECT system to disable support for legacy TLS versions and now support only TLS 1.2 and higher. This change has been implemented to meet increased security requirements and to align with European laws and regulations on data protection and information security. By enforcing modern encryption standards, we ensure stronger protection of data, improved resistance to known vulnerabilities, and continued compliance with applicable EU cybersecurity and data privacy regulations.
To be CE-compliant, the TLS version is the difference between a secure, compliant product and one that exposes users to risk and may violate European law after 2025. The minimum recommendation is TLS 1.2, but TLS 1.3 is preferred for modern compliance.
To be RED 3.3 compliant (Radio Equipment Directive, Articles 3.3 d, e, f), the TLS version is critical because it represents the "state-of-the-art" security requirement for protecting personal data, network integrity, and preventing fraud for connected devices. RED 3.3 mandates that devices sold in the EU after August 1, 2025, must have robust cybersecurity, making the use of secure protocols like TLS 1.2 (minimum) or TLS 1.3 crucial.
