OpenScape Office MX V3.0 box (shelf) remembers the connection initial (first) box with motherboards.
So, due mistake, after CMOS battery replacement, and the rotation of the motherboards to another (wrong) chassis, both motherboards now have another MAC address recorded, even though they do not belong to the multibox system.
I have two motherboards which have additional MAC addresses in their licenses that they got from the"non-original" box and all licenses were canceled, they have trial licences only . WBM Expert now shows this exceed MAC addressess in the built-in CLA License Manager, but it's actually “ghost boxes”, "ghost MAC identities", "ghost licensing identities".
I can't send/recovery the original licenses back in system, after upload licence shows me an error http 500.
The standard procedure in the past, while the CLS (Central License Server) system was operational, was as follows:
When the motherboard or the MAC identity of an OpenScape Office MX system was changed, the required procedure was to perform a license rehost through the CLS. After the rehost process was completed, a new license file was generated and assigned to the new hardware identity (System ID/MAC address).
But motherboards are in original boxes again, the Windows CLS, CLM and CLA are too old now (version 1.x, more modern second generation 2.x is different), OpenScape Office MX has own CLM/CLA (in WBM menu Licence Manager) , although Siemens HiPath License Management (CLS / CLM / CLA) of course not intended for deleting licenses or trial licenses, nor it can affect the detected excess MAC. It can only possibly help to restore the original license that currently cannot be restored via WBM Licence Manager (error 500).
There is no simple options in menu to remove this excess MAC and than trial licences .
I thougt thas solution is to made multibox sistem, and than broke multibox connection again regulary with master system, but it seems that only can made worse. Factory reset can't help, because systems storing licences, multibox connections settings etc.
They are on non-erasable part on motherboard for ordinary user/installer. Factory reset does not erase this protected data, and that's where the "ghosts boxes/MAC" are located.
Since the system is not supported anymore, I need a miracle, or instructions on how to do it from some special service menu that is not available to us installers. This is not easily achieved in the WBM menus or by the procedure in the instructions. Perhaps via the USB service interface, there is a possibility to remove "ghost boxes", "ghost MAC identities", but there is no such instruction.
Special software (Unify support tool???), or special instructions (hidden/developer menu in WBM?? or with USB service interface???) because the OpenScape Office MX itself can no longer access the old servers for licensing and does not allow the insertion of the cbf file with the license, which is also probably still on the motherboard, it is just hidden due to the appearance of the "ghost" MAC address.
I doubt the problem will disappear after 15 days. After the 15-day trial expires, do they return the original license or does the system remain without them?
I must clear licensing state (delete excess ghost MAC with licencing identity only) on both motherboard which are in original boxes now.
