Hello,
I bought a MikroTik router board to do some advanced control of my lan (traffic shaping, bandwidth limiting, forced vpn, etc...).
It is physically placed between a 7390 fritzbox and a test device (linux sat receiver).
For the functionality I want it needs to be in router mode (it also supports bridge mode). It works, I have tried with NAT and without (using static route in the fritzbox).
However I still want to use parental control (Kindersicherung mit BPjM-Modul) for web content filtering and time limiting (Zeitbeschränkung). The fritzbox is just very convenient for these tasks...
The problem is, the fritzbox does NOT collect/show the devices from the second network (even if the Internet properly works on those). Therefore I can't use the filter functionality.
Is it possible to force the fritzbox to filter other devices? I have also tried to have a "fake" network (in the 2nd router) using the same ip range, but the routing was of course mixed up and it didn't work.
Is there a workaround / solution?? I am thankful for any idea.
PS. I can understand German pretty well, it just takes too much time to write correctly.
Thanks,
Gabriel
