Problem mit * in Telefonkonferenzen bei VOIP

Habe Probleme mit der Eingabe von PIN Nummern für Telefonkonferenzen, wenn ich mich per VOIP einwähle. Die * Taste wird in 90% der Fälle nicht erkannt.

Wähle ich mich per 0800-Nummer über Festnetz ein, dann ist alles kein Problem.

Woran kann das liegen?

Leider kann ich jetzt in 100% der Fälle keine PIN mehr in meiner Telefonkonferenz eingeben, wenn ich über VOIP einwähle.

Klappt einwandfreI bei Einwahl über Festnetz.

Woran kann das liegen??

1. Hast du zufälliger Weise ein ISDN Telefon und "Auto. keypad" nicht eingeschaltet? Mehr Informationen wären praktisch.

Vielen Dank, habe kein ISDN Telefon, sondern ein analoges Siemens 411.

Habe mich heute mit PhonerLite eingewählt und damit werden die * erkannt.
Liegt es also doch am Endgerät?

Hallo,

habe selbiges Problem. Nutze ein analoges Gigaset SL1 und komme bei Telefonkonferenznummern nicht mehr mit * über VoIP durch - wenn ich die Nummer über Festnetz wähle klappt es.

Habe schon mal in den Telefonieeinstellungen geschaut - allerdings nichts gefunden.

Bitte ueberpruefe eure Codec settings.
Nuer bei G711 gelingt DTMF inband manchmal. Bei einere andere Codec immer outband nuetzen.
Das erklaert auch das es mit eine softclient doch funk't.

The easy way... Go to Settings - Telephony - Internet telephony - Advanced settings

There is an option to choose * Automatic selection of voice codecs, * Always use fixed line quality (this is in fact G711) or * Always use compression (this is G723)

If your DSL bandwith allows the speed try use * Always fixed line quality ("Immer Festnetz qualitaet")

There is a more complicated way to edit the codecs, not using the web interface. For this use "the-construct" pseudo image, you can set any codec and order there in a pseudo kind of upgrade. Please look in the forum for more help on this, but I doubt if my fixed line solution does not solve your problem that codecs are your issue.

Have you tried this - pressing a second time on star after the first one? Some phones enable DTMF only after the first star, and start in pulse (rotary) mode.

I'm using the LCR and it provides the following codecs

PCMU
PCMA
iLBC
G726-xx

and PCMA/PCMU are supposed to be G.711 codecs.

IT works --- I changed the codecs to G726-40 and G726-32 and now it works again.

Just for info:

PCMU is the same as G711 u-law
PCMA is also another name for G711 A-law

G711 or PCM is pulse-code modulation, the same codec used in ISDN (64 kbit/sec with 8-bit samples). America uses u-law and Europe A-law.
That law is only a different logaritmic scale used for quantisation.

I changed codecs to G726-32 and it works.

I have a 2mbit DSL line - does the usage of only G726-32 codec have any effects on that - positive or negative on my phone calls?
