Problem with 7170 and Labor update

Ok, maybe my german, but anyway, need help.

I add Version 29.04.34-7269 on my new 7170, OK, all new codecs, answering machine, all works fine. But after added further update - USB-Zubehöranschluss Version 29.04.34-7553 I lost all benefites from previous update (codect, etc).

Am I doing something wrong or what. Can somebody explain to me in plain English.

In the mean time, I will try to figure out, why I cant install .NET Framework 3.0 :noidea:

The main Firmware is 29.04.33!
If you install the 7269 you get the HD Phone, Answering machine, Codecs, etc..
If you install the 7553 you get the "USB Fernanschluss"
7269 and 7552 both include the 29.04.33.
But you only can use one of them. 7269 or 7553!
Your 7553 removes the functions of the 7269...

Labor firmware versions are complete firmware images, no add-ons.

Damn, I was afraid this is the case. Hope they will join all in one nice update soon. I really want to use features from all of the labor updates at the same time.

I decide to install 7553 with USB features. All works nice, USB HUB is pluged in and WD MyBook external disk is attached on HUB. Maping of disk went smood but speed of data transfer is same as Internet speed - 5mbps. Did I make any mistake or Fritz doesnt support USB 2.

you don`t make a mistake, Fritz support USB 1 and not USB 2.

No, not the 7170 but the new 7270 support USB 2.

The new 7270 shell be coming in summer of 2007.

The 7170 does not contain USB 2.0 hardware. So no hope for that.

Thx God I have got 7170 for free, will do till 7270 start flying.
