I used to integrate my certificates by putting them in the custom folder
Code:
./root/usr/share/cert/*
but the folder and certificates don't appear on the device anymore and also not in
Code:
./build/modified/filesystem/usr/share/cert
Did I miss a change? Should I put the files somewhere else now?

Edit: Using r5735 now, it worked in r5670.

Edit: reopened

The folder moved to make/mod/files.

Thank you for pointing out the needed howto changes. However it's not as easy as it seems. These files are not copied from make/mod/files/root to the image directly on make. Instead they are copied to packages/mod one time and from there they go into the image. packages/mod is deleted if needed...

Perhaps we need to provide another place for own files!?

Regards
Oliver

I am glad I could contribute something.

Did I understand correct that only the files in var.tar will survive a reboot?
Should the folder structure of var.tar match the root folder structure on the device?

If this is the way it should work, it is okay. But the ./root folder was very easy to use.

Am I correct that own files to integrate should now go to
Code:
./addon/own-files-0.1/*
I tried, but it doesn't seem not to work. Found this in the wike here.

Did you enable it in addon/static.pkg? Is the integration mentioned druing the build process?

Regards
Oliver

Yes, I did, but the integration is not mentioned during the build process.
Anything else I can do/try?
