I finally succeded in compiling Freetz (v1.1) for my 7050.
I have it compiled incl dnsmasq.
DNs masqseems to work, because I have disbale the avm DHCP server, and enabled the DNSMAQ one.

I the line for DNS server I have entered port 53 and I have entered -R -S 208.67.222.222 -S 208.67.220.220 under advanced options.

This is what ps shows me:
1462 nobody 884 S dnsmasq --pid-file=/var/run/dnsmasq/dnsmasq.pid -R -S 208.67.222.222 -S 208.67.220.220 -p 53

Somehow this does not work and give me the opendns dns server.
What am I overlooking? Or is there an alternative?

/var/mod/root # nslookup 208.67.220.220
Server: 192.168.180.1
Address 1: 192.168.180.1

Name: 208.67.220.220
Address 1: 208.67.220.220 resolver2.opendns.com
/var/mod/root # nslookup 208.67.222.222
Server: 192.168.180.1
Address 1: 192.168.180.1

Name: 208.67.222.222
Address 1: 208.67.222.222 resolver1.opendns.com

Try -R -S 192.168.180.1 -S 192.168.180.2 under advanced options

Try -R -S 192.168.180.1 -S 192.168.180.2 under advanced options

Nope...
PS:
/var/tmp/flash # nslookup 208.67.220.220
Server: 208.67.222.222
Address 1: 208.67.222.222 resolver1.opendns.com

Name: 208.67.220.220
Address 1: 208.67.220.220 resolver2.opendns.com

Somehow That seems ok. (Could also be data taken from ar7.cfg?

Even if I change the DNS entry's in my clients, it does not work! If I remve the fritzbox 7050 and put in a different dsl modem all is ok!

The IP of my fritz is 192.168.1.130 I do not believe that would make a difference though.

Some more output:
/var/tmp/flash # nslookup which.opendns.com
Server: 208.67.222.222
Address 1: 208.67.222.222 resolver1.opendns.com

nslookup: can't resolve 'which.opendns.com'
/var/tmp/flash #

I think somehow the fritz still uses the dns from my isp... But how?

Zuletzt bearbeitet:
I'm using opendns by /etc/resolv.conf
Code:
nameserver 208.67.222.222
nameserver 208.67.220.220
options rotate

Solved it by "bricking" my fritz, and do an image recover....

Shit... Shame i did not know what was wrong
