.subversion folder missing

Hallo, this is my first post here.

Subversion (freetz-trunk 4885) don't create .subversion folder in /var/mod/root so adding new global exclusions, for example, isn't possible . I think this could be the svn issue 1121 (http://subversion.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=1121) fixed in revision 5235. (About this:how i can get revision number of the subversion package?).

Do you have suggestions?

it does, or to be more precise, it does it on demand, i.e. as soon as you call some command that needs to save something in there, e.g. a password...

so adding new global exclusions, for example, isn't possible

global-ignores is afaik a client-side option, so this is something what we definitely won't take care of, i.e. it's completely up to you to get it configured...

how i can get revision number of the subversion package?

root[B]@fritz[/B]:/var/mod/root# svn --version

or take a look at the value of SVN_VER_TAG-define in subversion/include/svn_version.h

nothing personal, but this is a wrong forum - your problem has nothing to do with freetz. Have a look at subversion faq and at this book before asking a question in subversion forum...

I get it. In my tests I've used the fritzbox as server and client at same time. This has confused me.

You are right. I know that forum and that book too but I'm learning linux essentially using fritzbox and freeetz. So, sometimes, it's not easy for me figure out if a problem is due to freetz or package or mine inexperience. Anyway yours answers bring me out of deadlock I was in.

Is there a way to start svnserve daemon with a specific option from the frettz Werb UI?

packages > subvession > Start type = manual
add the command in settings > rc.custom
