7390 or 7270?

[musicman100]

Hi,

I don't know if this the right fourm and sorry it is in English.

Which one of these is the best I need it for WLAN and PBX and telephone.

Any one had any experience with either of these?

I don't really need the media storage space on the 7390 but the 2 USB would be useful., and I am not sure about the extra frequency for the N wlan.

I have heard about some problems with the 7390 but I think the initial problems with the 7270 has been sorted now.

Thanks

Nigel

The real advantage of the 7390 is the higher incoming line speed in excess of 16000. The additional USB may pose the requirement for 7390 in your case.
Your named purposes, apart from the second usb, would be fully served with a 7270, preferably V2 of V3.

The 7390 has a GBit switch whilst the 7270 has only a 100Mbit switch. If you use the 4 LAN ports the 7390 seems to be the better choice.
Other difference is that the 7390 has 2 seperate, individual WLAN carts integrated whilst the 7270 has only one. So at the 7270 you need to choose if you want to run the WLAN in g or in n mode. If you have a WLAN printer you need the g mode so it slows the speed of the connection to you laptop if that would be able to run in n mode. The 7390 with its two cards can connect to the printer in g mode AND with the second card you can make a n connection to your laptop.

samba or ftp transfer speed

Hi,
I have 7240 and i want to compare it with 7390 or 7340 which has faster cpu and 1G lan port. So i want to ask someone who has 7390 or 7340 about transfer rate.
What is your max transfer speed via ftp or samba when downloading larg file e.g.700MB from hard disk connected to USB.
