ext3 geht glaube ich nur, wenn man mit einem replaced Kernel arbeitet. Dieser aber funktioniert erst wieder, nachdem AVM die neuen Sourcne mal online gestellt hat.

Irgendwie fehlen, wohl die Module jbd und mbcache. Schau mal nach
ob die irgendwo unter /lib/modules/`uname -r`/ im Image existieren?
Bzw. ob die Module-Dependencie-Files in /lib/modules/`uname -r` auch die nötigen Referenzen für ext3, mbcache und jbd enthalten.
Ansonsten bau mal ein Freetzt komplett neu.

also es ging definitiv bis gestern mittag noch. dann habe ich ein svn up gemacht und ein neues image geflasht. seitdem habe ich diese komischen errors (beim kompilieren, siehe anderer thread, und nun auch ext3).

ich habe grad eine alte revision (2222, die hatte ich vorgestern drauf und die lief definitiv korrekt) ausgecheckt (komplett neuer freetz-ordern, selbst alle files wurden nochmal neu dled), nun kommen auch dort kompilierfehler.

ich glaube langsam, es liegt irgendwie an meinem system...


aber nun hat folgendes auf der box das problem gelöst:

ext3 geht glaube ich nur, wenn man mit einem replaced Kernel arbeitet. Dieser aber funktioniert erst wieder, nachdem AVM die neuen Sourcne mal online gestellt hat.

Also, bei mir arbeitet ext3 wunderbar. Auch ohne "replace kernel". :gruebel:

Also in den Zeilen deiner modules.dep fuer ext2 fehlt ein Verweis auf mbcache.ko,
und für ext3 ein verweis auf jbd.ko.

Warum das so ist weis ich nicht.

Ich empfehle, ein frisches svn co,
dahinein dann die .config, die busybox-config und die kernel-config kopieren und nochmal durchlaufen lassen.

(Es gib, glaub ich auch einen "make <foo>" kommando was dies in einem bereits benutzten Freetz-Svn-Baum macht ohne ein erneutes Checkout, aber das kommando ist mir gerade entfallen).

Bist du sicher? Leg mal bitte ein Verzeichnis im ext3 an und poste ein "ls -l". Eigentlich sollten da komische Zahlen kommen.

bei mir funktioniert(e) ext3 definitiv auch ohne replace_kernel (das es für die 7270 nicht gibt). nun halt mit dem manuellen insmod, was aber bis vorgestern auch noch automatisch ging...

Ich habe wohl irgendwann dass Teil mit fat32 formatiert gruebel, warum auch immer. Da bau ich die ganze Zeit mit ext3-Modulen und verschwende wertvollen Platz.

Mal ne Verständnis frage, da mir auch neu ist, dass ext3 nur mit replace-kernel geht(, aber ich muss sagen,dass ich damit kaum erfahrung gemacht hab, da ich ext3 gerade nicht verwende:
Wenn ext3 nur mit replace_kernel funtz, warum kann man dann "Automount ext3" auswählen ohne replace_Kernel, welches dann das ext3 auswählt?


Wie sieht das mit ntfs aus?

also bei mir geht ext3 gerade. mit der letzen offiziellen fw. nur das automatische module-loading für ext3 geht nicht, weil meine modules.dep keine abhängigkeiten anzeigt. warum auch immer.

bei mir läuft ext3. leider aber total langsam. bei ext2 schaff ich beim schreiben ca. 800 kb/s bei ext3 aber nur 120 kb/s. ist das normal ?

Da ext3 aus ext2+journaling besteht ist es normal, dass es langsamer ist. Sicherheit hat ihren Preis

Also schreibend hab ich an der 7170 auf einen USB-Stick 80KB/s auf ext3 und 180KB/s auf vfat (ganz grob gemessen mit "date;dd if=/dev/zero of=temp count=1024 bs=1024;date"). Es hängt auch davon ab was die Box sonst noch so treibt. Mir sind schnelle Downloads (30 MBit) und VoIP da negativ aufgefallen.
