I got 7170 working perfectly with annex A, but only with old firmware 29.04.01.
With the new firmware 29.04.06 there is no way to make it work... It tells me "CABLE GETRENNT", as it was no cable at all connected to the box.
With old firmware, even in annex B, it could recognize that the cable was there, even with annex A network.
So, I think the support for annex a is ripped in new firmware, or whorse, there is some code inside that prevents the use of annex a... too bad !
As I need the repeater functions present in 29.04.06, I ask if there is no way to combine the dsl code from old firmware into the new firm... Somebody knows which drivers affect annex behaviour ? I tried to put tiatm.o from 7050, microviop.bin and dsldmod.0 from 01 firmware, but no results...
