Hello everybody. Could this be a new residential base station / a replacement for Gigaset IP Base?

The only reference I can find to it is on swisscom.ch.

The user guide is available on the following service page (see 'PDF Anleitungen'):

This is the future successor of the Gigaset GoBox 100 and the Gigaset IP Base. Not currently available in Germany.

@TwistedPair A product name alone is not sufficient for a thread title. Please summarize your question there.

This will be a Swisscom only product.

When I look at the menu tree in the PDF manual, the base station will only work on the Swisscom network (apparently provisioned).

There are no settings for entering your own SIP account, only for assigning SIP accounts to handsets.

Thanks all for your replies.

I have updated the thread title.

Re this device only working with Swisscom. I agree the user manual does not mention the ability to configure SIP accounts. However, Gigaset user manuals are sometimes incomplete. Also, if this is a Swisscom only device, why would Gigaset give it the IP Base Comfort II name, which is a natural name for the successor to the IP Base (Comfort)?

The user guide PDF page header has a date stamp of 10/09/25, so it has been edited quite recently.

This is a product manufactured specifically for swisscom. The Hardware based on the Gigaset N610 pro, but the Firmware is different. If you are NOT a customer of swisscom, please don't by this product. The former product "Gigaset IP Base" is EoL.

Maybe just because Swisscom wanted to have continuity regarding the naming of base stations. They are also still selling Gigaset IP Base Comfort. And even this naming was for Swisscom only.

It was only a short life, similar to the FX800W called "Gigaset Fusion".

Thank you for your update on the BasicLine IP. Unfortunately Gigaset does not deliver to Ireland. I plan to get one when I find a vendor who will.

Please have a look at jacob.de.

I have just ordered one from Jacob. Thanks again for your help.
