Integrate New language in Fritz firmware

Hi, i'm an italian Boy, I translated the german firmware in italian and now i would to put the new page htm in the fritz box 7050.
I tried with bftp to write in folder /usr/www but failed because the filesystem is Read-only !
Can I integrate my htm files in the firmware with DS_MOD ?
Repeat: I translated the original german htm files in italian and i would to up them in the firmware.
If i put these files in ./root/usr/www in cygwin as same as descript in the HOWTO_integrate_own_files.txt, the ds_mod overwrite the original with my version?

It should work the way you described. But the language specific part is not in the htm-files. It is in the .inc files.

I translated the inc files, putted them in ./root/usr/www with its path, i made menu with no packages, made the firmware with NO ERRORS.

But when i put it on fritz 7050 it says that "Das Firmware-Update ist fehlgeschlagen: Die angegebene Datei enthält keine für Ihr Gerät gültige Firmware "

what can i do now ?

What Firmware do you use? german/international?
What Boxtype do you have? OEM (avm/avme/...)?

Can you verify that you did not remove the OEM in "make menuconifg".
Or you have to change firmware_version from 1und1 to avm.
