PPPoE drop

FBF 7270 .81 INTL (Without freetz or other plugins)

in some cases, about 14 days, PPPoE not work (DSL sync work OK), only power off/on repair this situation, in log is:

04.10.10 14:27:47 Internet connection cleared.
04.10.10 14:27:47 PPPoE error: Timeout.
04.10.10 14:27:34 Internet connection cleared.
04.10.10 14:27:34 PPPoE error: Timeout.

any ideas?

Let's see a screenshot of detailed DSL informations (DSL informations / DSL).

May be the SNR ist to low.

May be the SNR ist to low.

When the SNR is to low, the DSL-Synch will not be established permanently.
PPPoE-Error are Dial-In-Errors, not Synch-Errors.
Maybe to many dial-in in a short time...
Try to restart the box and look again. maybe a factory-reset is helpfull

yes, not problem in SNR, DSL Sync is 100% OK

But if PPPoE drop, then soft reboot is not possible, i think this is any bug in SW... maybe some overheating of FBF? Previous model 7170 not have problem with this.. ISP have not autorization on PPPoE (login/pwd for PPPoE- DSL is not important, any value works).

Nobody really not see this situation? Then i must Factory Default and start config from begin? :-((

Ask your ISP, which device (your Fritzbox or ISP-equipment) initiate the PPPoE termination.

Before you reset to factory defaults, save your settings.
If the factory reset not solve your problem, then you can import your old settings.

but problem is, this freeze is very very rare, about 1x 2-4 months !

So probably with no one ever met, it may be defective piece, etc. ..

did you solved your problem?
I have similar situation with my fritz.box 7270 v2 Firmware-Version 54.04.90
This DSL line is working without any issues with fritz.box 7390.
