Sagem IP Web Radio 500 spielt keine mp3 Muisic von USB Festplatte, aber nur von USB stick ! :-(

Sorry, now in English:
I spent almost whole weekend trying to make IP Web Radio 500 playing from USB HD. Today I called support and they explained that the radio does not play music from USB HD at all, but just USB, and they do not know if the new firmware version will bring support for USB HD.
Anyway, his brother Sagem IP Radio 700 (acording to the specification they both have the same basic HW) seems to play music also from USB HD.

Ntfs?

Mittlerweile werden USB HDs auch gern mal mit NTFS vorformatiert ausgeliefert. Leider verstehen quasi alle geräte an die sich ein USB Stick / HD hängen lässt nur FAT32.

Die Fritz!Box mit ihrem Linux kern, ist da auch erst seit kurzem eine Ausnahme. Aber wer mal einen USB Eingang am Drucker, DVD-Recorder oder ähnlichen Geräten probiert hat, weiss was ich meine.

Also prüf mal ob die HD mit NTFS formatiert ist. Vielleicht lags ja nur daran.
