[Problem] Gigaset Maxwell 3 / Elmeg IP630 Firmwareupdate nicht möglich

Hello

I found this forum about Maxwell 3 which is great for IP phone knowledge
Sorry I speak only English (or French).

I have several Gigaset Maxwell 3 IP phone. I recently bought a new one

Unfortunately the release was
2.15.9-release

I was not able to upgrade to the last one mx3-3.19.1-release.bin automatically or through web neither tftp recovery mode

I found on this thread the GC_MAX_2.19.6-release.bin and fortunately successful install it through tftp recovery (*2#) (was not working through web)

Now my Maxwell 3 is running
Firmware version
2.19.6-release

But unfortunately still not able to apply the mx3-3.19.1-release.bin neither with web or with tftp.

Any idea ?
I saw that several realease exists
2.19.6-release (the one I found here and successfully installed)
2.20.6-release
2.22.7-release
2.24.12-release
2.25.6-release

Do I need to proceed to another release ? Before switching to 3.x releases ?

Any idea ?
And where I can find the firmware because gigaset teamwork wiki seems to need authentication for Maxwell 3 IP phone

Are the devices originally labelled with "Gigaset" or are the devices OEM devices labelled with "Elmeg" or another manufacturer?

The easiest and safest way is to install the new firmware directly. Please log into the phone's GUI and go to the menu "System" -> "Firmware update". First, press the Browse button and select the downloaded firmware file. Clicking the upload button will start the update. The file is now being loaded onto the device. You will receive the responses "Firmware update - Firmware file is being loaded" and "Firmware update - Firmware ready for update". The second message must be confirmed with the OK button for the process to continue. You will now see the message "update in progress..." on your phone's display, along with a progress bar. Once the update is complete, the phone will restart.

Already did that but it doesn’t work.
Any alternative place I can find all the firmwares?

Thanks but I already tried
Only the latest firmware 3.19.1 can be found on the internet.
The only oldest one I found is 2.19.6 thanks to his forum.
The 2.19.6 allow me to move from 2.15.9 to 2.19.6
Upgrading to 3.19.1 need probably intermediate firmware (gap is too big between the 2 firmware.
The only solution to move forward is to find a storage of 2.x firmware but can’t find any of them (neither archive.org)
If anyone can help me finding 2.x firmware after 2.19.6, it should help.

The update should also work without an intermediate version. Is there an error message with the update and the file?

This was my option as the auto update is working like that but unfortunately that is not the case
As soon as I got an intermediate file (found here) I was able to update from 2.15.9-release to 2.19.6-release
apparently I need another intermediate release
Anyone here could have safely backup any of the zip and or bin of the following releases

2.22.7-release
2.24.12-release
2.25.6-release

Where exactly was this version found? I thought an interim update wouldn't solve the problem. Is there any provider-specific firmware already installed on the device? Alternatively, the versions from the following archive can also be tested.

You have a Vodafone Italy variant that can't be updated with the Gigaset Firmware. The 2.19.6 firmware you found seems to be the vodafone variant.

I don't know if there was a newer version for vodafone.

The 2.19.6 release is the one I found here earlier in this thread. But impossible to flash the 3.x releases after.

Just like written. You can't update Vodafone Italy variants with the Gigaset firmware. You need the specific firmware for those variant.

Hat irgendjemand noch die Datei Maxwell_23B_3.19.1-release.zip? Leider kann man die 3.19.1 Firmware nirgends mehr finden.

Hm, ja das hatte ich auch schon überlegt. Ich vermute jedoch dass die Firmware am Ende Probleme mit meiner Yeastar PBX verursacht.
