I have freetz-devel-3739M installed on my 7170. It works very well and I love it so much. But recently I have a strange problem with telnet (and SSH) login. I don't remember from when I could not login either by telnet or by SSH. I searched this forum, and found a solution here:
http://www.ip-phone-forum.de/showthread.php?t=168138

In der "RudiShell" eingeben:
Code:
(echo neuesPasswort; sleep2; echo neuesPasswort) | passwd
It worked. And I was very happy about it. However, I failed again to login in a few days. And this time the RudiShell tricky did not work anymore. Then I found another workaround just yesterday:
http://www.ip-phone-forum.de/showthread.php?t=164752

über die Rudi-Shell
Code:
cat /tmp/flash/users/shadow | grep -v '^root:[^*]' >/tmp/shadow
It worked perfectly and I could login as a root. But this morning after rebooting, the strange thing happens again: I could not log in via telnet or Dropbear and both solution don't work anymore.

Does anyone have ideas? What causes my problem? Are there any solutions?
Thank you very much in advance!

Some more information:
Code:
cat /etc/shadow
bittorrent:!:10957:0:99999:7:::
There is no root and ftpuser users. But I have Ftp access.

Code:
cat /tmp/flash/users/shadow
root:$1$3GmZI7tI$eTGPGPSVgmd5DraCc4wrN1:12332:0:99999:7:::
bittorrent:!:10957:0:99999:7:::

ftpuser's password is in /etc/passwd.

Don't heard of a problem like this yet.

Regards,
Oliver

ftpuser's password is in /etc/passwd.

Don't heard of a problem like this yet.

Code:
# cat /etc/passwd
root:$1$IL.F25jo$79vAxPj7rg.QnCFrlc5VZ/:0:0:root:/mod/root:/bin/sh
ftpuser:any:1000:0:ftp user:/var/media/ftp:/bin/sh
bittorrent:x:1:1:Torrent server:/home/bittorrent:/bin/sh

But no root in /etc/shadow is unusual, isn't it?

And I found another problem by accident: the FTP can be accessed with any username and password. The FAT32 can be read and write, and the ext2 partition can be read only. Unless I close the FTP access on AVM web interface, otherwise the FTP is open to anyone. I tried to change the FTP password on AVM web interface, but same result. This is a serious problem. Any ideas?
