Zyxel 2002 problems mit Motorola SB5101e

Sorry but my Deutch is bad so I will write in English

I have regular adsl connection, but my zyxel 2002 ATA doesn't connect to it,
ADSL is on Motorola surfboard 5101e,im going trough PPPoE on cabel operator

on SYSTEM STATUS it says:

Ethernet Port:
IP Address : 0.0.0.0
IP Subnet Mask : 0.0.0.0

I don't know what to try to fix it manual

Ethernet TCP/IP Settings
+Get IP Address Automatically
Use fixed IP address

if I use fixed IP it still doesn't work

my username and passw are OK


It should connect itself automaticly but it eams to me that it doesn't

Yes I'm on default settings

sorry for my bad English.

first get a new Firnware on your Zyxel.

your FW is very old.

second put your Zyxel in the DMZ of your Router and use fix IP Adresses.

It is funny becouse it worked well with simens adls modem, it was on "get automatic IP" and it found it got IPs by itself and I could use telephone


Please explain me DMZ

Hallo,

Power down your Motorola cabel modem for a few time,
then it is possibel that your cabel prowider do not rennew the MAC adress of the Zyxel.

After I upgraded the FW it just beeps, it's not ready to make phonecall, even if I dial a number it's still beeping


I tried shuting down the motorola modem, but since it's beeping it makes no change

what is the diffrence fro regular firmware and ENGINE ONLY


I even activated the STUN and tried few versions from

but it just beeps

I dont know is it now just not working from the FW or something else

Is it OK to beep beep all the time, (maybe becouse it's not connected to voipstunt),
becouse with old FW it it had constant tone when you first pick up the phone, and then when you dial the number it beeped beeped constantly



I'm worried that the FW is not ok
